Fly-half Ian Madigan has signed a new deal which will keep him at Leinster until the end of the 2015-16 season.

The 24-year-old, who has four Ireland caps, made his Leinster debut in 2009 and has chalked up 81 appearances for the provincial side.

"He displayed a good level of consistency in his displays last year," said Leinster coach Matt O'Connor.

"We're confident his best years are ahead of him and he can achieve even greater things in the years to come."

Madigan won the Pro12 Golden Boot for 2012-13 with 186 points from his 21 appearances in the regular season.

Educated at Blackrock College, the Dublin born player has scored 337 points in total for Leinster.
