Adam D'Arcy: Bristol bring in former Ulster full-back

Adam D'Arcy

Former Ulster full-back Adam D'Arcy has signed for Championship side Bristol on a two-year contract.

The 28-year-old Australian spent three years at Ravenhill, making 54 appearances, but was released when his deal expired in June.

D'Arcy will provide cover for Jack Tovey, Errie Classeens and Jack Wallace, who are all out injured.

"I'm looking forward to testing myself in the Championship - it's a fresh challenge for me," he said.

"Bristol are a fantastic club and, when I heard that Andy [Robinson] was interested in me, I was keen to talk to him about the direction that they are going.

"It's a big season for Bristol and there is a sense of excitement about the place. Hopefully, I can contribute towards a successful season."
