London Welsh's majority shareholder Kelvin Bryon has rejoined the club's board as deputy chairman.

His association with Welsh goes back 20 years and he was previously chairman of the Oxford-based club.

Bryon pulled out of the club in the summer after their relegation from the Premiership, but has agreed to return.

"Kelvin has been the mainstay of the club for many years and we're delighted he has decided not only to rejoin," said Welsh chairman Bleddyn Phillips.

"This move underlines Kelvin's continued commitment to the club and our strong belief that we have an excellent squad with a great team spirit and with high expectations for the season ahead."
