Cornish Pirates head coach Ian Davies has been chosen to take charge of the Barbarians next month.
The Welshman will coach the Baa-Baas in a game against a Combined Services XV on Tuesday 12 November in Plymouth.
Davies has been coaching at the Pirates since 2009, and has guided the club to fourth place in the Championship table this season.
"It will be a fantastic occasion and I am honoured to be part of such an historic fixture," said Davies.
"I was overjoyed when [Barbarians committee member] David Barnes rang to ask for my availability to coach the team."
The Barbarians are also taking on Fiji at Twickenham on 30 November, with All Blacks coach Steve Hansen in charge.
