Conor Murray cited for striking incident during Munster victory
Munster scrum-half Conor Murray is a doubt for Ireland's November series after being cited for striking with the elbow during Friday's win over Glasgow.
If found guilty at Wednesday's hearing, Murray could be banned for eight weeks, ruling him out of Ireland's Tests with Samoa, Australia and New Zealand.
Ulster's Paul Marshall may be called in to the Irish squad as a replacement.
Leinster prop Cian Healy is a doubt for Ireland after suffering a knee injury against Castres.
Healy sat out Saturday's Pro12 win over Connacht and is the biggest injury concern for new Ireland coach Joe Schmidt.
Paul O'Connell was withdrawn from Munster's Pro12 match in Glasgow prior to kick-off with a calf strain and is struggling to be fit for Ireland's opening match against Samoa at the Aviva Stadium on 9 November.
Glasgow Warriors' replacement scrum-half Niko Matawalu has also been cited for allegedly biting Munster lock Donncha O'Callaghan.
