Could Chris Ashton be any more average?
England can beat us but play boring rugby 99% of the time.
Wales can't beat us but play very attractive rugby 99% of the time.
That is really the up shot of it and that is the firm perception in the Southern Hemisphere.
Absolutely. If CA's defence was that good I would say no but it isnt so I dont think England have much to lose. We have no Manu on the pitch this year and the centres we will not smash through them so why not put on someone with the skills to get passed the gainline using speed and footwork..? Hopefully Yarde or Foden on the other wing.
First half, Dickson played very well...subbed at 50.
Hartley was the best player on the pitch...subbed at 60
Twelvetrees was going ok..subbed at 65.
The ABs don't make unnecessary substitutions. All these players can play for 80 minutes. They must upset the team's performance.
Do you get hacked off trawling through all these England vs Wales sh*tfights? Or do you have an automatic trolling filter?
What have the media in general and the BBC in particular got against England? Granted they put in a lacklustre 20 minutes on Saturday but they also scored four well-worked tries. They get another media-lashing...for winning. Wales play with intensity but no clear tactics for 80 minutes, score no tries, lose by a length but are brilliant and heroic.
The double standard is getting tedious!
Just don't send a rogue chef over to the All Blacks hotel this year!
All home nations teams have great players as do the SH teams.
If you cannot enjoy rugby then watch something else, take up bowls or do something else.
The english game last weekend included flair and lack of attack, but still 4 good tries.
Let us celebrate rugby rather than go on about who won how many games - who cares?
"We've been working too hard"
"we're too good."
"I'm expecting three out of four for this autumn...."
If Robshaw had said these things there would be a vast celtic uproar about English arrogance..
But when a welshman says things like this it is seen as 'brave' and 'positive'
Can someone explain this to me?
"Its only cheating if your caught :) and we were not caught my friend hense it was not cheating"
I've always wondered about this "pat" statement. If I take sock full of pennies onto the pitch, lay out my opposite number with it and the ref doesn't see it, that's OK? I think that's what you're saying.
If you can't play a game without regard for its rules and ethos...then don't!
lol
Lots of talk about which wingers England should be playing - does that really matter when the ball rarely gets passed past the 12 before getting taken into contact? I hoped that Mike Catt would bring attacking flair to England's backline, but we seems as clueless as ever in the 3/4s. Your thoughts?
