Guernsey RFC coach Jordan Reynolds hopes win breeds confidence
Guernsey RFC coach Jordan Reynolds said his players can take a huge amount of confidence from their display in a resounding 45-7 win over Barking.
A first-half hat-trick from hooker Tom Ceillam set Guernsey on their way for a morale-boosting win, which lifts them to 11th in the table.
"The most important thing is a good mindset and that victory will help our confidence," he told BBC Guernsey.
"The guys played really well and should be proud of themselves."
Guernsey ran in seven tries against the league's bottom side in a dominant display and kept up the momentum in the second half after leading 31-0 at the break.
Reynolds added: "It was good for us to start and end well, which is something we've struggled with.
"Usually if we start well we end badly and vice-versa, so it's good to get a performance which went right through to the 80 minutes.
"We've had a pretty tough time ourselves, narrowly losing by a couple of points here and there.
"But we're not getting too carried away, we've still got a lot of games to go."
