Llanelli rugby club great and Scarlets board member Hefin Jenkins has died.
Burry Port-born Jenkins made over 400 appearances for Llanelli and played at number eight in the famous 9-3 victory over New Zealand in 1972.
Jenkins, 63, played for Wales B as well as being capped for the Barbarians.
"We would like to express our deepest condolences to Hefin's wife Valerie and their extended family at this very difficult time," said Scarlets chief executive Mark Davies.
Mr Jenkins, who was a former Llanelli RFC chairman, leaves wife Valerie, younger brother Iwan and family.
The Scarlets will paid their respects to Mr Jenkins with a minute's silence before the LV= Cup game against Gloucester on 24 January.
A memorial service will be held at the Quinnell Lounge at Parc Y Scarlets at 10.30 GMT on Saturday, 1 February.
