Les Kiss to leave Ulster next month to resume Irish duties
Les Kiss will leave his interim Director of Rugby post with Ulster next month in order to resume full-time duties as Ireland assistant coach.
The Australian took up the temporary position following the departure of coach Mark Anscombe in June.
Ulster said on Friday that they were aware of the date for Kiss leaving Ravenhill when he was appointed.
The club added that they expect to make an announcement on their new coaching set-up within the next fortnight.
Kiss has combined his roles with Ulster and Ireland since taking over from New Zealander Anscombe.
At the time Ulster said Kiss was brought in "to allow time for a review of the coaching structures at Ulster Rugby to take place".
"Les Kiss will have an expanded remit for the Province's Director of Rugby and will lead the coaching staff, assisted by Jonny Bell and Neil Doak and will manage 1st team selection."
Ulster drew 32-32 with the Scarlets in Wales last week in their first competitive game with Kiss in charge.
He will return to coaching the Ireland squad ahead of the November Tests against South Africa, Georgia and Australia.
