Saracens have agreed a deal to sign Romania international Catalin Fercu from Timisoara Saracens.
The 28-year-old versatile back, who has scored 28 tries in 72 appearances for his country, will join the Premiership side at the end of the month.
"Catalin is strong, tenacious and skilful and is equally capable on the wing and at full-back," said Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall.
"He made a strong impression when he played for us in May."
Fercu previously appeared for Saracens against Gloucestershire in a friendly match at the Honourable Artillery Club.
Timisoara Saracens are part of the Saracens Global Network, which encompasses nine rugby union clubs across five continents.
Fercu becomes the first player to arrive at Allianz Park from another club in the network.
"I have an enormous desire to play in my new team, but I am aware I have to work twice as hard to reach their level," he said.
"It is a new stage in my career as a sportsman and I wish to live as many beautiful moments as I did with Timisoara."
