Exeter head coach Rob Baxter says Thomas Waldrom should be considered for a recall to the England squad.
The 31-year-old number eight, who in the summer, has scored three tries in four Premiership games this season.
"People have been banging the drum for Nick Easter for a long time and Harlequins say age shouldn't be a barrier," Baxter told BBC Radio Devon.
"Well Tom's a good deal younger and he's playing really well."

Waldrom scored a try in Sunday's as well as two in the on the opening day of the season.
The New Zealand-born number eight, who was the has won five England caps.
"He's one of the form back-row forwards in the Premiership at the moment," added Baxter, who has seen Chiefs players Jack Nowell and Tom Johnson win full England caps in the past few seasons.
"Tom's just relishing the rugby he's playing at the moment.
"He's thriving and he likes getting out there and playing football and we let him go out there and enjoy himself.
"He works hard for us, he works hard for the team, and the upside is he's going to get to play plenty of rugby and he's playing well."
