Ospreys' lock De Kock Steenkamp ruled out until New Year
Ospreys second row De Kock Steenkamp will be out of action until the New Year with an Achilles tendon injury.
The 27-year-old South African lock will not need surgery, but is unlikely to play before April 2015.
"De Kock suffered a ruptured Achilles [tendon]," said Ospreys medical performance manager Chris Towers.
"We are looking at a best case scenario of a six month rehab period, but there is no reason why he shouldn't make a full recovery from this injury."
