Jersey scrum-half Ryan Glynn has been pulled out of the Championship's squad to play against Canada on Saturday.
Glynn, 23, was withdrawn after fellow Jersey scrum-half Nicky Griffiths had surgery on a dislocated finger.
"Nicky Griffiths' injury has left us with only two fit scrum-halves," said Jersey boss Harvey Biljon.
"The chance of injury this weekend against a physical Canadian side was too much of a risk ahead of our tough league programme in November."
is replaced in the squad by Worcester scrum-half Jonny Arr, while London Scottish forward Max Maidment is also added to coach Martin Haag's squad.
"I spoke to Martin Haag and he fully appreciated our position - I hope the squad do our league proud when they take to the field on Sunday," added Biljon.
Jersey provided one player for the last Championship XV match - then-captain Nathan Hannay was in the squad that faced the Maori All Blacks in 2012.
