Scarlets have confirmed wing Kristian Phillips will be out for four weeks with a fractured cheekbone
Phillips, 24, was replaced after only three minutes of the 28-13 Pro12 home win over Zebre.
The Welsh region had 18 players absent for Saturday's match at Parc y Scarlets because of international call-ups and injuries.
Wayne Pivac's side host English champions Northampton Saints in the LV= Cup on Friday.
George Earle will captain the side with Rob McCusker and Jordan Williams returning from injury and Kieron Hardy set to make his debut at full-back.
