Jersey have released former South Africa Under-20 hooker Jason Thomas.
The 22-year-old failed to feature in any competitive games for the Championship side having played against Bath and Blackheath in pre-season.
Having been brought in following Thomas was unable to break into the side ahead of and
"Jason was unlucky not to get more game time during his time in Jersey," Jersey director of rugby Harvey Biljon said.
"He was a committed member of the squad and definitely made an impression, however our other new signings at hooker have both been fit and in good form since August and injury prevented Jason from getting an opportunity during our recent British and Irish Cup games.
"We'd like to thank Jason for his efforts here and wish him all the best for the future," Biljon added.
Jersey are expecting long-serving hooker Dave Felton to return to action in the next few weeks after recovering from neck surgery.
