Launceston captain Jamie Salter was delighted with the character shown in Saturday's 17-17 draw with second-placed Dorking in National Two South.
A penalty try and a score from hooker Salter put the Cornish All Blacks seven points up before BJ Chapman was sent off and Darren Semmens sin-binned.
"It's disappointing to draw when you're close to winning," Salter told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I'm proud of how 13 men held on, our character is a real positive."
It was Launceston's second home draw of the season and stretched their unbeaten record to three games.
