@190. rugger C England are in most positions (certainly in the pack), better equipped than Ireland. So @15 Ireland have Kearney on wings Bowe/Zebo at 9/10 Murray/Sexton that's 5 Lions in the backs.Only area Eng in the back line are stronger is 12/13 and that's offensively not defensively as for the pack both have areas of strength 50/50 on that This Test will be a 1/2 score game EITHER WAY
Tricky match to predict against Ireland. They master the basics of the game and don't give much away which makes them difficult to beat.England will need to be water-tight and disciplined. If we remain focused, England are in most positions (certainly in the pack), better equipped than Ireland. After last year's French debacle in Paris (no fault of the Irish), it has to be England.

@185 I actually paid $80 to go see Bills v Jets in NJ in October 2014 who are two poorly performing teams currently. I haven't paid to watch Wales play since 2012 Autumn much is my disappointment in how the Welsh management have taken this (imo talented group of players) team since. We've been regressing for years by now and lose more games than win in any calendar year. Can't wait for WG to go.
Barry Man - went to the Cup Final a few years ago and my impression was breathless excitement. But all very much one-paced - run, pass, dive on the floor, run, pass, dive on the floor, run pass kick. Midway in the 2nd half I got bored: like a lot of fast food ultimately unsatisfying. I prefer the variety in union but they still need to iron out a few bits. You seem to want basketball on a field.
@184 it's banter mate, we all know Ireland were the tournament favourites and we all know why. There will be some great battles, just hope they're not all in the pack. England are an improving side .. who could be great! Ireland are an established side and unlike Wales have a great coach and a plan B and C. Good luck i'll see your pint of guinness and raise you a tetleys
Rugby Union has become like Rugby League, without the excitement. The scrums are a joke and the breakdown a farce. I would prevent defenses from playing the ball on the floor at all and limit the number of phases the attacking team can play to say 12. That would encourage attacking play. The NFL has done wonders to encourage attacking games and are reeping the rewards
Anyone saiding England will roll over the Irish is insane. We will be up for this game big time and i can see us (Ireland) winning. Our defence is good we proved that against the French. England defence has not been tested yet. I just hope there are no Yellow/Red cards and theres a good Ref who doesnt spoil the game. It may not be a cracker to watch but i hope we will do ourselves proud. Go Ire
Having watched PSA's Sale team for 3 years I was amazed to see him appointed to Fra team. He repeatedly had gifted players yet repeatedly put out a team to play power rugby, and one that failed so often to convert good possession to tries. Not unusual to rugby - gifted players often become quite conservative, dullard coaches like the don't understand what made themselves great.
Exactly what Peter O'Mahony has to do to get into Guscott's weekly team I'll never know.As for 'Poor Saint-Andre', he's had more chances than Nick Cotton. That idiotic kick-off routine sums up his cluelessness.
Ireland are incredibly boring, England will put them out of their misery next week.Ireland 12 - 27 England
