Wayne Pivac rues Scarlets' errors in draw against Munster
Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac was left lamenting his side's mistakes after they squandered a 12-point lead to draw 25-25 with Munster.
The Welsh region led 25-13 with 13 minutes left of Saturday's Pro 12 encounter at Parc y Scarlets.
But Munster clawed their way back with a try from JJ Hanrahan and Ian Keatley's conversion with the last kick of the game.
"Unfortunately we made too many errors, which they capitalised on," said Pivac.
"It's disappointing. When we got to 25-13, we thought we were in control of the game."
The result means Scarlets remain unbeaten at home in the Pro 12 as they moved into sixth spot.
But they could be overtaken by mid-table rivals Connacht, who visit Newport Gwent Dragons on Sunday.
"It's nice to have that [unbeaten home] record but we're very disappointed we didn't get the win," added Pivac.
"We would have been disappointed to have lost the game with the effort we put in out there.
"But to get in that winning position, it's not the first time this season [to have squandered a lead].
"The boys in the changing room left everything out on the field. You can't ask for much more than that."
