Redruth: Steve Larkins happy despite Henley defeat

Redruth v Henley
Henley are only the third side to come away from Redruth with a win this season

Redruth boss Steve Larkins was pleased at how well his side fared in their 28-13 loss at home to National Two South leaders Henley.

Kyle Marriott and Rhodri McAtee scored tries for the Reds, who limited their opponents to just three tries.

"It's pleasing that there's only one or two per cent difference between the top teams and the teams in the middle like ourselves," Larkins told BBC Cornwall.

"They've got a pretty good pack and they moved the ball well," he added.

The result sees Redruth drop a place to ninth in the National Two South table.
