Launceston boss 'delighted' with 29-5 Old Elthamians win

Launceston RFC
Launceston have won five and drawn one of their 11 games since January

Launceston director of rugby Neil Bayliss was "delighted" with his side's 29-5 win over Old Elthamians.

The victory, Launceston's second in as many games, all but secures their survival in National Two South and brings them to within one point of Redruth, who lost 50-7 at Dorking.

"I'm delighted, we needed to put in a performance after our previous outing here against Cambridge," said Bayliss.

"We showed fantastic character," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.

The Cornish All Blacks are up to 10th in the division with three games to go.

"The last 20 minutes in particular, we produced and played some outstanding rugby and full credit to the guys for that," Bayliss added.
