Ulster rugby player Roger Wilson has been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit.
The 33-year-old forward was stopped last month after police received a call from a member of the public.
The PSNI said: "In the early hours of 22 March police stopped a car near Mountstewart on the Ards peninsula.
"A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit. He was released pending enquiries."
A statement from Wilson's club said: "Ulster Rugby is aware of an alleged driving-related incident involving Roger Wilson.
"As it is a police matter, Ulster Rugby will be making no further comment."
