Full-back Aaron Penberthy believes Jersey are "really maturing" as a team.
The Channel Islanders are heading for their first mid-table finish in more than a decade after numerous title pushes and relegation battles.
"We've shown a bit of guts and a bit of passion and we're really maturing as a team," Penberthy told BBC Radio Jersey.
"We're improving week by week and we're challenging the top of the table sides, so there's a lot to come from us."
Jersey complete their Championship campaign at home to Moseley and could yet finish above the Cornish Pirates.
Harvey Biljon's side then play arch-rivals Guernsey in the Siam Cup next month, but they have already started making signings for next season.
"There are people here who want to play for Jersey this year," Penberthy added.
"We're really digging in until the 80 minute mark - even against the big sides we never want to give up and that kind of attitude can take you places."
