England trio Jonathan Joseph, George Ford and Billy Vunipola have been shortlisted for the Premiership Player of the Season award.

Centre Joseph, 24, and 22-year-old fly-half Ford have both played important roles as Bath secured a play-off spot for the first time since 2010.

Number eight Vunipola, 22, has made 13 appearances for Saracens this season.

Wasps pair Nathan Hughes and Elliot Daly are also on the shortlist, with the winner to be announced on 20 May.

Flanker Hughes, 23, has been with Wasps since signing from Auckland in 2013, while versatile back Daly, 22, has featured for the England Saxons team.

England and Harlequins full-back Mike Brown won the award last season, with current England captain Chris Robshaw the last uncapped player to win it in 2009.
