Exeter head coach Rob Baxter says he is not under pressure to make any more signings at the Premiership club.

The Chiefs signed Jonny Hill on Monday and have also added Geoff Parling and Julian Salvi from Leicester Tigers.

"If there's any more additions then it'll be one, possibly two, but at the same time I can see us signing nobody," Baxter told BBC Sport.

"We're not looking at our squads, feeling that we've got issues or problems, or weaknesses."

Baxter continued: "If the right player became available, we're in a position where potentially we could sign somebody.

"But we're being very selective and, if anything, we're probably the ones who are being very picky, saying no to a lot of guys, taking our time and assessing the players we think might well come.

"Some of them may well be during the season. It isn't like I'm desperate to get somebody for the start of pre-season next week because we have a glaring opening in the squad - that's not the case."

Baxter led his side to a European Champions Cup place after finishing fifth in the Premiership last season.
