Paddy Ryan: Libourne prop signs for Newcastle Falcons

Premiership club Newcastle Falcons have signed prop Paddy Ryan from French side Libourne on a two-year contract.

The 24-year-old Munster academy product has previously had spells with London Welsh and Italian team Viadana.

"He has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing him realise that," Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards told the club's website.

"He has good experience having played in Italy's national competition and the European Challenge Cup."
