Bath centre Ben Williams has been forced to retire from rugby because of an ongoing shoulder injury.
Williams did not feature in the 2014-15 campaign following an injury sustained in a pre-season match against Scarlets.
The 26-year-old, who joined Bath in 2007, represented England Under-16s and U18s - and made 37 career appearances for the club, scoring five tries.
"I've done everything in my power to get back to full fitness," said Williams.
"There comes a point when you realise you need to do what's best for your wellbeing.
"I'd like to thank everybody involved with the club - the medical staff, who have been brilliant with me in my time here, my team-mates, my coaches and, of course, our great supporters."
