Scarlets lost their pre-season game to Bedford Blues despite having led at half-time.

A try from Tom Williams, converted by Steve Shingler who had kicked an earlier penalty gave Scarlets a 13-5 lead, with Bedford having scored a penalty try.

Mark Flanagan rounded off a fine team try to start the visitor's fightback after the break.

Dean Adamson and Paul Tupai then crossed to seal Bedford's victory.
