Mark Cooke: Jersey unhappy with opening Championship results

Jersey's only win this season has come at home to Cornish Pirates

Jersey centre Mark Cooke says the island side are disappointed with their results so far this season.

They have won just one of their three matches in the Championship, despite being ahead at half time in all their games.

"We're disappointed with the results, but I think our performances have been pretty good, so hopefully results will come from that," said Cooke.

"We could have targeted the games earlier to get a few more wins."

Cooke, 22, has yet to play for Jersey in the league this season, having moved to the club from Bristol in the summer.

"It's been a bit frustrating personally for me," said Cooke.

"I've just been waiting my turn and hopefully I'll take it when it comes," he added to BBC Radio Jersey.
