Cornish Pirates boss Ian Davies says the club's three Canadian World Cup players are crucial to his side.
Matt Evans, Brett Beukeboom and Aaron Carpenter have missed the start of the season as they play for Canada.
"All three of them will give us a boost when they return, probably in mid-October," Davies told BBC Cornwall.
"I've made no secret that Matt is massive both on and off the field in terms of how we drive things here and the culture we're trying to create."
All three started for Canada as they lost 50-7 to Ireland in their opening World Cup match, while Evans will play as the Canucks take on Italy on Sunday.
"Aaron's captained his country on many occasions and won 50-plus caps, that's the reason we signed him from Plymouth, to come here and add that experience."
