Guernsey Raiders head coach Jordan Reynolds will re-assess how his side approaches the second half of games after the 28-24 at home to Wimbledon in National Three London and South East.
The islanders scored four tries but threw away a 14-8 lead at half time.
"We were probably the dominant force in the first half," Reynolds said.
"But the way we played in the second half was our biggest downfall. We weren't outplayed on the day, they just preyed on a few mistakes that we made."
Guernsey slipped to seventh in the table as a result of their loss, their second of the season.
"In every single game we've played so far we haven't come out for the second half well at all," Reynolds added told BBC Radio Guernsey.
"We will look at that next week."
