Jersey wing Tom Howe says getting regular game time during his loan spell from Wasps is "crucial".
The 20-year-old has been an ever-present for the Championship side this season, scoring three tries.
"Coming to Jersey and getting week in, week out game time is brilliant and I'm loving it to be honest," Howe told BBC Radio Jersey.
"I'm loving it over here. It's completely different to how I thought it would be and the culture is great."
Howe is an England Under-20 international with Premiership and LV= Cup experience at Wasps.
He is one of 17 players to have joined the Channel Islanders since the end of last season, and says the set-up is similar to his parent club.
"Apart from the big stars not too much varies. Both are similar, apart from here you can go surfing after training and in London you can't," added Howe.
"With young players looking to develop, getting game time is crucial. Nothing is more valuable than that."
