Cornish Pirates lose 24-19 at Moseley after late try
Cornish Pirates' poor run of form in the Championship continued as they dramatically lost 24-19 at Moseley.
Kyle Evans' last-gasp try saw Moseley extend their winning run over the Cornish side at Billesley Common, which now goes back to 2009.
Evans scored two first-half tries, along with one from Buster Lawrence, as Moseley led 17-11 at half-time.
A second-half Matt Evans try and 79th-minute penalty from Kieran Hallett put Pirates ahead before Evans' late try.
The result keeps Pirates second-from-bottom of the Championship, having won just two games all season.
"It's just the basics really - if you do the basics well you'll win games," Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"In the second half we did the basics really well, kicked the ball really well, pressurised them, forced them into their half, made them play from deep and did everything right.
"But at the end we let ourselves down and gave away a try."
