Worcester Warriors hooker Niall Annett has signed a new undisclosed-length contract with the Premiership club.

Annett, 24, joined the Warriors from Ulster for the 2014-15 season.

After his crucial tie-changing late try at Bristol in the Championship play-off final in May, he has been an ever-present for Warriors in the Premiership this season, starting all nine matches.

"Niall is a perfect example of the kind of personnel we want to attract," said director of rugby Dean Ryan.

"He came to Sixways, understood what we were trying to build and recognised the importance of competition across the squad.

"His response was to raise his game, and we've been really impressed with his application and progress."
