Clermont Auvergne's Viktor Kolelishvili has been suspended for 14 weeks for pushing English referee Wayne Barnes.
The incident happened in the 21-13 European Champions Cup defeat by the Ospreys in Swansea on 15 January.
Barnes penalised the Georgian flanker at the time. He was subsequently cited and pleaded guilty at a Paris hearing.
Two weeks were added to the sanction due to Kolelishvili's poor disciplinary record, although an immediate apology to Barnes helped halve the final ban.
