Jersey Reds boss Harvey Biljon has hailed his injury-hit squad after their 22-13 win at London Scottish in the British and Irish Cup.

The island side are third in their pool, but just a point behind Scottish and leaders Ulster A.

"I don't know how these players are doing it. We've got 12 players out," Biljon told BBC Radio Jersey.

"I've got more players watching training than are actually training and playing at the moment."

Aside from a host of injuries that Jersey have suffered, they were forced to sell their ground and assets in November because of financial problems.

Former New Zealand centre Regan King left the club for personal reasons, while Samoa international centre Fautua Otto was jailed and sacked in September after admitting driving while disqualified.

"The more adversity, the stronger these guys galvanise and come together," Biljon added.
