Bristol club captain Jack Lam has resumed training for the first time since being injured while away on international duty with Samoa.

The 29-year-old flanker, who has not played for Bristol since October's home league loss to Sale, reportedly injured his neck against France in November.

Jon Fischer is ruled out of Boxing Day's visit of Worcester, while fellow back row Jordan Crane is a doubt.

"Jordan is touch and go," interim boss Mark Tainton told BBC Radio Bristol.

"The way he is at the moment, he is doubtful."
