Mark Sorenson: Bristol lock to retire at end of 2016-17 season
Bristol lock Mark Sorenson will retire from professional rugby at the end of the Premiership season.
The New Zealand-born 37-year-old, who previously played for Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints, has made 82 appearances for Bristol since 2013.
"It feels like the right time for me to take on a new chapter and retire," he told the club website.
"The game has given me incredible opportunities and I have enjoyed every minute of it."
