London Irish captain David Paice will face a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel after being sent off against Gloucester in the Premiership.

Former England hooker Paice, 34, was dismissed just before half-time in Saturday's 39-15 defeat for The Exiles.

He was shown a red card by referee Luke Pearce for dangerous charging in a collision with the head of Gloucester captain and scrum-half Willi Heinz.

The hearing will be held in London on Tuesday evening.
