@ 101. Mark, don't rise to the bait. trytastic has numerous nonsensical posts on this article. The problem with HYS's like this is that they will always lure the odd troll like trytastic out of the woodwork.
Trytastic. After the Autumn Internationals the Welsh and Irish teams had consecutive games around the Christmas period against their national rivals: in all of those games for Munster i saw Murray, Stander, O'Mahoney and Zebo start all of them, likewise Stockdale, Henderson and Best for Ulster, and then we're the Champions Cup games in January.
@Valley CommandoThought the ref more than kind to Scarlets penalties wise and tried to keep his card in his pocket as long as possible, I have no complaints tbh. Agree on the TMO though, another awful oversight on their 1st try. French hand touched ball, ball went forward .. clearly.. but no knock on.Cracking game though, the 10 minute shut out on the Scarlet's line 2nd half won it.
95. Didn't say it was wrong but it certainly does happen.
"British"?This is ridiculous and patronising - the implication being that everyone in the UK cares about Saracens and Llanelli, but not Munster or Leinster? Or even the French teams? What would you have written if Ulster were still in? I imagine most Welsh rugby fans will be cheering on their British allies in Saracens against the foreign Republic-of-Ireland Leinster tomorrow, right?
@87 Posted by TrytasticSpot on mate the English clubs are run by self interest motivated money men who in the main couldn't give a damn about the England team and until they have centrally contracted England players England will continue to go backwards.
@88 Murph. Hey - stop being a little Richard. Now go and be a Richard elsewhere. Poor attempt at goading Welsh rugby fans on here. I'm guessing your aged 14 or 15? Anyway, excellent result for Scarlets - consolation try at the end by La Rochelle irrelevant really.
@87 Posted by Trytastic"It is well known fact that the Irish in particular prioritise very carefully"Shame on those Irish for allowing the dog to wag the tail as opposed to the absurdity that is the RFU and AP clubs where the opposite is the norm.Long may that continue though for as long as it does the nations that practise some sort of central contract system will prosper, the others?
Well played Scarlets thoroughly deserved victory, and that's from and Englishman. 😀
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
No matter how much the dodgy ref or TMO tried to defeat the SCARLETS they couldn't.Bring on the semi final, it can't come soon enough, whether we get to go to Ireland or play the Tommy Cooper fan club in Coventry, it doesn't matter the champions cup is Scarlet.
Great game Scarlets well deserved 2 more games! Barclay carrying 6n form into European knockout stages
