Surely it is a bit early to be marking Worcester down for relegation. I don’t have any real faith in Solomon, too old, too dithering, but he has assembled a half decent squad. When the half backs get used to each other they will release some of the talent outside- Pennell and Adams know how to finish.
15."When JP Doyle was the best thing about this game" thank you for the chuckle. JP D is a nightmare, how he missed so much (for both teams) at the weekend was baffling. Even Lol Dayglo was sympathising with Worcester by the end of the match.
@10 Cuthbert played 13 minutes, would be hard not to remain intense for such a short period
If the RFU are serious about the future of the game they should outbid everyone and buy the Premiership. Then they would be on an even footing with Ireland / NZ etc and could look after the players properly.
@16 If he watched it, I can only think his comment relies purely on the fact that JP is Irish to say "was the best thing about this game"!That it was the worst game of the Premiership weekend is difficult to argue, but have to presume he hasn't seen any of the Pro14 games (just as he never has a comment on any Pro14 HYS'!)
@15 You watch it then??? You are more interested in England and their league than you are your own. I will even out your own score. 1-1 now.
When JP Doyle was the best thing about this game, it's speaks volumes about the awful standard of the Gallagher Premiership.
Dad joke alert
I saw this advert in a window that said: “Television for sale, £1, volume stuck on full.” I thought, “I can’t turn that down.”
Sale will be happy with a win when performing poorly, Worcester will need to be strong if they are going to hold everyone up at the bottom for the whole season. It's a long season and with plenty of internationals and European games, squads will come into it once again. Less affluent clubs need to manage their home fixtures and pick up what they cam on the road.
@4 I'm sure Bath will be ok .... but I have a feeling they're going to have a tough season of it.
