@315 Howzit. BIG call considering you were just beaten by them at a RWC & historically only a 38% winning rate against them. Granted, that's better than most. But you're right about the ref, had he'd been on-point NZ would have got a penalty try. However, that's the way it goes & unlike you they wont whinge about it. Good luck against England, based on your current form ... you will need it.
@381. Anglophone.I think you may have lost this one, shhhhhh!!.
@424 - Since you want us to "be honest here" your whining has zip to do with a 2 minute cultural chant & everything to do with the fact that NZ are consistently the best and you rarely beat them. People like you dont grizzle when Fiji, Tonga, Samoa do the same thing but howl like screaming banshees when its the All Blacks. "In all honesty" how about you play better instead of looking for excuses.
SA in reality did not look like scoring. The lapse of concentration for a split second, allowed their guy to run over for what was a weak try.The real scoreline to me was NZ 23 - 6 SA. That is how I see it and this ABs side is only just beginning. A huge amount of hysteria about Irelands win over a lacking Scottish side, amuses me. As for SA, underestimate them at your own peril IRELAND.
@424 FrankieGive it a rest...clearly never played rugby at any level or even played it. The blacks were clinical on kick chase, dominated the loose areas and had more adventure after a slow start against a very good SA side. Haka is old enough not to intimidate grown men so don’t be pathetic. On favouritism, should have been a penalty try in first half for deliberately killing play. Grow up
@375. Posted by playthegameforaliving I take your point regarding no advantage. I was not a good enough player to find that out.I love the game but I find this modern tradition (started in the 50's) an embarrassment, a bit like kids in the playground poking tongues out at each other. Makes me cringe when I watch it.Sorry. I think NZ will get their 4th RWC Victory, Haka or no :-)
Were some ordinary calls from the referee. Before their try SA regained position by intercepting a pass in the NZ backline when the player was stupidly offside. That and there should have been a yellow card/potential penalty try awarded to NZAll blacks look ominous.
Delighted to see the Springboks well beaten and the All-Blacks playing well despite half the journalists writing them off.
@424 Frankieoh, poor little Frankie. those All Blacks are 'cheating' again. They're so naughty!grow up ya big baby.......
@wwales.Why not ask Warren Gatland to change the Welsh team name to:-VEGAN WALES, because you lot think you're better than anyone else.NZ SA final with Saffers winning it.
@ Frankie Is that another pom whinging again? Such a tired old hoary chestnut. The haka is a cultural icon and is a challenge most of all both to the opposition and to the ABs. Now if you can't handle that sobeit, however our haka is part of our culture, and we perform it with honour and pride because it speaks not just to us and you but honours those who came before us and you.
426Thought you had things to do?Mummy asking you to wash last nights sheets she had to change?Seems you’ve been up as long as me. What’s the anti English back story then?😔😢
@ TWGKnew you wouldn't be able to resist 😉 Predictability the downfall of many a person and team.
Was a good hard fought game & it was the dress rehearsal for the final. The Boks have improved immensely from four years ago & are well and truly title contenders. The ABs are going to peak about the right time & the only other team that could be a fly in the ointment is the French, because on the day they can play a blinder, depending on what team turns up after the ref blows the 1st whistle.
Let's be honest here. NZ does get preferential treatment. The allowance of the HAKA, and demonstrably favourable decisions by the referees. Down-vote me if you like but it's true. It's similar to Ferrari in F1. It happens because they're the 'drawcard'. Of course it's unfair to the opposition but they just have to try and find a way to deal with it.
422Haha!And you don’t read any posts!Cross referencing everything I’ve ‘said’ in previous ones! Troll
@ TWG I've not said England have no chance of getting out of the group. You said it in your 418 post.Make up my mind about what? We've done this before, sit down, rest, get your breath and regroup. Don't rush into making another comment. Clarity of thought is paramount, just ask any of the Welsh players you play and train with. Enjoy your day and be happy must go now, things to do. 😌
420You say the Boks are looking fwd to tuning England. You’ve been saying Eng have no chance of getting out the group. 2 therefore don’t tally. Only way Boks can play England now is if Eng finish 2nd in their group and beat Fiji Wales or Australia in a 1/4 final. Make up your mind.
