@1049 Ah of course, 'banter'! 3SlamWales is famous for that rather than trolling!
@1048 Come on it's only a bit of banter and wind-up and guess what you were reeled in big style!
@1046 Are you gonna keep copy and lasting this nonsense on every HYS?!
@1018. Posted by fosI'm sure that you'd be fuming if your Ingurland were sent home in similar circumstances. However, you are self absorbed, and your hatred of anything non-Ingerlish clouds your judgement.Enjoy getting whipped by NZ.

I was living in Hong Kong in 1976 when a typhoon named " Iris" caused absolute carnage and killed many. My wife's name is Iris, very similar!! - nuf said.
Competition not devalued - rubbish Mr Gilpin!!! If Australia or Wales lose quarter finals they could legitimately point to England and France having longer rest period which would be fact and thus devalue the tournament - stop putting head in sand RWC and accept poor contingency planning.
Obviously safety comes first but you have to look at organising committee and ask where was contingency outside setting rules to allocate points.Rugby is an entertainment industry and next on agenda behind safety. The game could have been moved to Friday - 70000 people, many who have travelled long distances, are now disappointed - Poor job that RWC!
Now I'm wondering if a tied group system could potentially be gamed. In the final match(es), could a team hypothetically benefit by not scoring bonus points or allowing the opposition to score bonus points or even throwing the game (maybe not that last one)?Game theory hurts my head. Perhaps one of those lovely BBC hacks could do the maths for us.
England should be fresh for Australia! Two warm up games, another against Nigel Owen's 14 man Argentina and a bye, along with a fortnights rest. What next...an earthquake (heaven forbid) and a sponsors / Rugby World Cup guarantee to the final with New Zealand? All the other teams are...expendable of course. Farce! Still...let's hope no one gets hurt or killed over the next 48hrs.
