Sills focused on World Championships after Euro success
Launceston windsurfer Imogen Sills has her sights set on the World Championships after being crowned European champion.
The 17-year-old won the Eurosaf Youth Sailing European Championships in Portugal last week and is now targeting further success.
Sills told BBC Radio Cornwall: "This is definitely my biggest win.
"I'm training for the rest of the summer and I'll then focus on the World Championships in October in Rome."
Sills, whose sister Saskia is also a windsurfer, said her win in the RS:X competition at the European Championships had whetted her appetite for more first-place finishes.
"It's definitely given me a massive confidence boost. Always being second or third gets a bit tiring sometimes and you can get a bit down.
"To be able to win makes you realise how much you enjoy winning and we'll see what happens now. It was so much fun."
