The pair finished fifth overall but were the third-highest European crew.

New Zealand's Olympic champions Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie placed first as Slovenia won European gold and France claimed silver.

In the men's event, Britain's defending champions Luke Patience and Elliot Willis were the fourth-highest Europeans as Germany won gold.

The United States came first overall as Greece claimed silver and Russia took bronze.
