Defeated Newtonmore must regroup for next month's Camanachd final

Kyles Athletic came from behind to snatch the MacAulay Cup from Newtonmore in Oban.

John MacKenzie opened the scoring in the 44th minute as Newtonmore dominated the early stages.

But Kyles pressured finally paid off 3 minutes from time when captain Duncan Kerr snatched an equaliser.

And the drama continued when a Roddy MacDonald goal secured the trophy for Kyles in the 90th minute.

Newtonmore must now regroup ahead of the Camanachd Cup final against Kingussie in Inverness on September 17.
