Murray makes solid start in Rio
Andy Murray beat Serbia's Viktor Troicki 6-3 6-2 to progress to the second round of the men's singles tennis at the Rio Olympics.
The 29-year-old, who won singles gold and mixed doubles silver for Team GB at London 2012, will return to begin his doubles campaign alongside brother Jamie later on Sunday.
Another Scot, canoeist David Florence, is through to the semi-finals of the C1 slalom event on Tuesday.
On Monday, Hannah Miley is among the Scots competing, the swimmer due to go in the women's 200m individual medley.
Wall wins Paul Lawrie Match Play
In golf, Englishman Anthony Wall won the Paul Lawrie Match Play to claim his first European Tour title in 16 years.
Premiership weekend complete
In the Women's Scottish Cup, there were wins for holders Glasgow City, Celtic and Hibernian Ladies, the latter claiming a 19-0 victory.
