Jersey's Commonwealth Games shooter Barry Le Cheminant put in a "world-class" performance to win the Jersey Open Fullbore Championships.
Le Cheminant, who came won the Grand Aggregate by eight points from Richard Benest.
"Barry's performance was world-class yet again," said fellow Jersey shooter Bruce Horwood.
"He scored 673 out of 675 at short range - to drop just two points is absolutely outstanding."
Le Cheminant returned to the Commonwealth Games this summer after a 28-year break from international shooting.
"His winning margin in the Grand Aggregate was a massive eight points, which I believe is a record win. It's quite outstanding considering the Jersey Rifle Association is in its 153rd year," added Horwood.
