Britain's women have won bronze in the team skeet event at the European Championships in Slovenia.

Amber Hill, Elena Allen and Sian Bruce all performed well in the qualification round to give Great Britain a total of 209 targets hit, but none of the shooters reached the semi-finals.

Gold went to Slovakia on 214 followed by Cyprus with 210.

The result means the team have now medalled at the last four major international championships.

"It shows that we definitely have a strong team in the UK and other countries are now taking notice," said Hill.

"We're the ones to compete with."
