Mark Allen plays a shot in Saturday's first session at the Crucible

Mark Allen won the last two frames to trail Cao Yupeng 5-4 after the opening session of the World Championship first-round match at the Crucible.

The Antrim player made a poor start and was quickly 3-0 down against his Chinese opponent.

Yupeng led 4-1 and 5-2 before the World Open champion fought back and Allen made a break of 88 in the final frame of Saturday night's session.

The match in Sheffield resumes on Sunday afternoon.
