The UK Snooker Championship is under way at the York Barbican and the BBC will bring you comprehensive live coverage.

Ronnie O'Sullivan defeated Mark Allen in the 2018 final to become only the third player to win the event in consecutive years after Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry.

The UK Championship is one of snooker's Triple Crown events, and this year has more than £1,000,000 in prize money for the first time - with the winner claiming £200,000.
